How It Works

Start with 100,000 SUSQies
Every participant begins with the same virtual balance, so everyone starts on an equal footing.

Trade markets
Take positions across the competition’s designated markets based on where you think outcomes are priced correctly or incorrectly.

Adjust as information changes
Buy, sell, and update your positions throughout the competition as markets move and new information becomes available.

Track your performance
Your balance and position on the leaderboard update throughout the competition.

Finish with the highest balance
Eligible participants with the highest ending balances will receive cash prizes, including a $30,000 first-place prize.
Predictions Cup is designed to evolve over time, with future competitions featuring new markets, events, and themes.
Participation is limited to eligible university students. Competition dates, eligibility requirements, and additional terms can be found in the Official Rules.

Open to undergraduate, graduate, and PhD students who are the age of majority and reside in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Guam, Guatemala, Hungary, India, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Romania, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Trinidad & Tobago, United Kingdom, United States, or Vietnam. Starts 12:00pm ET on October 1, 2026 and ends 12:00pm ET on November 4, 2026. Winners can be from any of the countries listed above. Participants are provided non-monetary, contest-specific currency (“SUSQies”) to use for purposes of the competition. There is zero cost, fee, or financial obligation required from any participant.
